Dual mass flywheel

2007 Vauxhall Signum Elite 1.9CDTI
Car: Vauxhall Signum
Year: 2007
Variant: Elite 1.9CDTI
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
Vibration from engine on idle, I have been told its dual mass flywheel and main dealers want £1500 of my hard earned cash to replace. This seems a bit steep, does anyone know a better deal

Even a quick search of "EUROcar parts" shows arond £230 for the DMF,then you need the clutch itself, around £250 and the concentric slave cylinder say £70 so parts sll in around >£600 then labour.
You ought to see change from a grand from an indie.
Oh and these parts are Luk,a make I use and rate.
I'd call that a saving,if you can find a garage to fit them.
1 word of warning though ,if you supply parts I,amd most other garages will GNTee only the work, any future problems with the parts are your lookout, you supplied them after all.
And I would avoid the conversion route, news reaches me of at tleast three done that came back in with a cracked crankshaft!
DMF's are there for a reason.
