1994 Vauxhall Omega engine stops unexpectidly

When engine is warm It will stop when you come to a halt,when revs slack at a round about or when stationary after only a few moments.
ECU does not want to communicate with various diagnostic boxes, as the management light occasionally comes on. When doing so the car seams sluggish but picks up again quickly.
Motorway driving is fine until one comes to a halt.

Check or clean idle air control valve and throttle body . If that doesn't fix it , check crankshaft sensor .
