I have a red warning light showing an air bag problem. Can the information be accessed through the general diagnostic socket or is this only for the engine management?

yes you can find problems with the airbag through the diagnostic socket my guess is one of your seat belt pretensioners is at fault get it plugged in to find out shuldnt cost no more than 30 pound

hi i have same problem on my vectra 2002 CDX. i booked it in at main dealer and it was fault with passanger side seat airbag fault, they sugested i left it as it coud cost up to £300 to fix. so i am now stuck with light on
