2000 Vauxhall Omega auto box warning

Car: Vauxhall Omega
Year: 2000
Variant: 2.2CD Auto estate
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Can anyone please offer advice, sometimes, just as you start up I get the spanner light on and then the check auto box warning come up and I have no response from the accelerator.
Sometimes, the car judders quite violently and loses power unless you floor it and it does pick up but after a minute of this I get the warnings coming up and limp mode - again turn it off and back on again and it clears.
Any advice much appreciated
Cheers

The only way you will find out is to get it scanned and see what codes are showing .
