IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE 25 MILES PER GALLON I HAVE BECOME RESTRICTED TO FILLING ONLY 2 GALLONS I/E 9 LITRES,PER FILLING ANY MORE THAN THAT I LOSE MILES PER GALLON the more petrol I put in the less MPG I Get the car has been checked for leeks, the gauges have been tested, and the emmission tests are ok.

Not sure how filling your tank can make a difference other than adding weight which would increase consumption,you could try inflating your tyres ,cutting any extra weight you carry,driving economically .or buy a manual small car that will give a better mpg return.

Check your spark plugs, your fuel and air filter.

You should also consider whether you have changed your itinerary. Moreover if your are now driving during peak time, this will also increase your fuel consumption.
