just put in a new air flow mass meter , and the car seems to splutter as i rev the car up but then picks up power as i put my foot down

is it the same fault as b4 you fitted the new maf

Are the maf part numbers the same ?

yes it was happening before i changed the maf , and the maf numbers are the same , someone suggest taking a look at the coil pack

Coil packs are a common fault , worth checking .
