2001 Vauxhall Frontera tickover 1500rpm

on refitting a new cylinder head when the car is cold and with choke runs fine but as car warms up i get a slight miss fire and the revs creep up to 1500 rpm i have checked the timing and looked for an air leak but cannot find anything only thing found was air leak on inlet but now sorted
