My car bleeps when I turn the ignition on. Does anyone know what it could be.

Your car is bleeping to let you know that the back up battery in your power sounder (ALARM) is going flat, You will need a new power sounder.

Is it just the battery back up I need to replace.

Unfortunatley they are all one unit called the power sounder, Basically its the alarm siren.

ok maybe its because I am female, the garages think they can tell me anything. So I need to tell them its the "sounder" thats gone and that it needs replacing. Does that have the battery included in it.
