It may as simple as a sticking idle control valve or throttle butterfly or an air leak somewhere .

Changed the coolant sensor no result.
Engine now revs at up to 3000 rpm when travelling and stays at they rpm.
Stop for 5-10 minutes the engine will start first time and tick over at around 800 rpm.
Can anyone suggest a solution as becoming a pain in the arse.
Thanks
