1993 Vauxhall Frontera intermittent no start

Car: Vauxhall Frontera
Year: 1993

Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Recently refused to start, turns over normaly.
Discovered by disconecting then reconecting battery engine starts.
Replaced suspect crankshaft senser,
1000 miles later fault has returned.again by disconnecting & reconnecting battery engine starts.
Any ideas? LT power to coil is present but no spark on engine turnover

Don't know how old your battery is but I would get it LOAD tested is case to big a draw on cranking .

No spark means no switching which generally means the CAS,
which you have changed but I'm wondering at the quality of the renewed CAS.
Was it O/E?
Or Ebay

Thanks both the battery is good, crank senser replaced by garage. 1 week ago. meanwhile 1200 mile trip to Poland no probs till try & start after three days standing till then no issues.
I suspect the ECU not switching the coil LT. " In the fault mode LT appears on on all the time". Maybe disconnecting the battery clears the ECU error?
The problem is my car is in Poland at present will attempt return drive in about 8 weeks time, I have ordered a spare ECU, as backup plan, any other thoughts most welcome.
