1998 Vauxhall Frontera not picking up after 300 revs

I have a vauxhall frontera automatic 2.2. It has done less than 40,000 miles since.. On Friday it was and is running sluggish. Engine is fine don't know if it's gearbox problems. Any help will be appreciated.

Without more info , hard to help .You say it's running sluggish , but engine fine ?? Could check ATF ( auto transmission oil level ).
