I recently bought the car which had been standing for several months .
Ive fitted a battery and turned it over and once it starts it cuts out almost immediately .Apparently the fuel pump is delivering fuel ok .

Impossible to say with out more info . You will have to see if you are getting spark and fuel first of all .
