The bonnet catch on my frontera won't release the bonnet. I have tried pushing down on it while someone pulls the leaver, no luck!
Any ideas and I would be grateful as the battery is flat. Thank you .

Try it few more times as in this cold weather things like this are common.
If still no good can you remove the front grille to gain access?

Break off the front grill to access the catch and open it manually .probably requires a bonnet cable and the catch will be rusty.
