on driving the engine management light comes on, then the clear filter light that goes off after running at 2000 revs and also an engine management light with a downward arrow comes on, what is the cause of this issue please

You need to get your car serviced and scanned for fault codes . Changing the fuel filter MAY help but continuing usage with warning lights on is not advisable with any car
