2012 Vauxhall Antara when the car does about 30miles cant select 1st second or reverse once the car cools down it goes into gear 0k then once it heats up cant select gears once more

when the car does about 30 miles cant select 1st second or reverce if you come out of reverce it is very stiff after half hour rest no problum goes in to all the gears lovely then problem back again thanks david

Could check your gearbox oil level , but I believe they superseded / changed the gearshift cables on later models . Might be worth checking cables / linkage for any wear and try lubricating
