2009 Vauxhall Antara losing power

car going into limp home mode while driving. We have carried out repairs on the car replacing brakes and discs. We have just learned about the recall notice regarding the starter motor and that should be getting fixed on monday, but so far garage bemused at why the car going into limp home mode intermittently. Has anyone had similar problems with this type of car. Feel it's dangerous to drive as it doesn't happen all the time and last time it happened was going round a busy roundabout.

Is it a Vauxhall dealership that has checked the car ? have they scanned it for fault codes ?
