Cooling fan staying on when car is switched off

my cooling fan decided it wanted ti stay on today my car had not been over heating an was running fine i removed the green fuse to turn it off cud you tell me is there a radiator coolant sensor in the rad could it be that? ta carl

the coolant sensor is on the clinder head,these can play up quite alot,check your coolant level as well and check for leaks if low
