Oil lght switch

hi got a agila 1.2 and when car is warm the oil light flickers on when braking then there is a tapping noise like hydraulic lifters , have checked oil is ok and changed oil pressure switch , the noise dont seem to bad now , but light is still flickering could it be the pump thanks

It sounds like the oil is not getting into the top of the engine so i would suggest an oil and filter change to start with, making sure you use the correct grade and type of oil-this is vital, don`t be tempted to use cheap stuff.

Why not try flushing the engine with a decent engine flush then replace oil and filter,that may help matters.

Check oil pressure with a master gauge to verify if low pressure .
