2011 Toyota Verso squeeling brakes

Car: Toyota Verso
Year: 2011
Variant: D4D TR
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
I recently fitted new brake pads on the front of my Toyota verso 2011 D4D diesel 2L. I cleaned all parts with Holt's brake cleaner followed up by using copper grease on the pad runners. I have completed 1000 miles and since replacing the pads the brakes have squelled ever since. I did not replace the disc's as they did not need replacing.
Any idea what to do next please?

Dont know what make of pads you fitted but a lot of cheaper , foreign pads are known to often squeal . You should also put the copper grease on the back of the pads where the piston pushes and on contact points in the calliper

The pads are Eicher which are the cheapest. I will take them out and refit them bearing in mind your comments about the greasing points. If they don't improve I will have to purchase more expensive pads. Any preference please?
