2005 Toyota Verso tick over lumpy

Driving is ok but when I stop the tick over settles at first at a 1000 rpm but after a few seconds drops to 500 rpm before returning to 1000 rpm. The car is serviced at correct intervals and has covered 45,000 miles.

try cleaning throttle body with carb/or induction cleaner
