You could be unlucky enough to have a faulty battery so charging may not help. If you mean you tried jump starting off another car i would say the cold spell we have had is to much for the starter motor, this sort of weather finishes everything off. If you mean you tried to push it down the street to bump it off i would say the battery is unservicable or you may have some bad connections.

You must have had an initial problem there in the first place to have gone a few months ago to purchase another battery. First I would get the battery to a local Toyota garage and get them to charge it overnight and check the cells are all toped up as they should. It's very difficult to test a cars starting ability when your battery is not 100% to start with. If the battery is then sorted and the starter stills turns slowly then your fault lies somewhere else. You need to get battery checked first. Remember in this kind of weather we all use heated windows, heated seats, full fan blower, dipped beam h/lights etc when we head off so it takes a lot out of the battery, you need long journeys to recharge the battery. It's like when you over do it during the day, you need a good sleep at night, not just 2 to 3 hours!! Re check battery first by a specialist.
