2001 Toyota Rav-4 water in driver footwell

getting water in driver footwell. any suggestions on where to begin looking to find solution.

first of all has the engines header tank lost any water if yes then poss heater matrix if not then you need someone to hold a hose pipe on the car as you look in side to pin point where the water is coming in from as it may be some thing like a window seal or a door seal or just a grommet that wants repositioning

If you have a sun roof it could be the drain hose on that side of the vehicle come off the metal tube from the metal roof appeture. I removed the trim on the drivers side window pillar inside the car and then managed to get the roof lining down a bit. You can then see the pipe. in my case it had slipped off. I refitted it using a fuel pipe type jubilee clip to hold it in place as the spring one was not man enough. Problem solved in this case. Hope yours is as easy.
