Toyota MR2 how can i change the steering rack on my toyota mr2 series 2

From MR2 forum , someone wuth same question . Posted: Sat May 14, 2011 8:33 am Hi, Has anybody attempted to change a steering rack on a MKII? Is it a tough job? Anything which is tricky/tough? Any tips? How long should it take etc etc? Is there a "how-to" anywhere that may help me? Jack up,axle stands,wheels off,undo steering arms,undertray off,undo steering column from frunk,loosen 4 bolts holding rack,undo power steering hoses (get a bowl ready for fluid). Then reverse fit. Make sure that you get your steering wheel and rack centalised (easier with 2 people). think thats all.
