hello my Toyota lucida central locking wont work with the key but if im sat in the car and lock my door from the inside all the doors lock ;the passenger door the boot and the sliding door'but if I get out and use my key only the driver door locks 'any idea anyone 'thank you

Tried reprogramming the remote ? Hard to get info on that year , but may want to try these ,

Never worked on one to be honest . Could be central locking control unit wherever it is . On some cars it was part of the front door lock mechanism on others it was a seperate module hidden elsewhere.I have fixed some by stripping down door O/S trim and freeing off sticking lock linkage / actuator with WD 40 as they were not getting full movement to trigger locking .Might be worth a try ? Sorry cant be of more help .
