1996 Toyota Carina starting problems

Car: Toyota Carina

car was running but after stopping would not re-start,toyota carrina, recently had new starter motor, radiator electric fan loud last time i drove but thermostat not indicating overheat, fan belt screeches occassionally on start up.
think the starter motor fitted 2weeks ago was a re-con after similar problem.problem has only occurred when engine warm after a short stop and engine fan has kicked in noisily just prior to this happening.no indication that car was overheating and all fluid levels seem ok.
started up fairly easily tonight with a push so i drove 8miles home and parked it at garage where the recon starter was fitted two weeks back.
drove fine all the way[as it has done since bought in october] but after engine off at the garage it would not then restart .
any ideas please.....
re-con a dud,solenoid,ignition switch,distributor[all electrics seem ok]....???

Check earth lead from battery to chassis ground is okay, check that your battery is producing 12volts or more,If okay then check you are getting a feed to the starter motor solenoid when ignition turned to start position.

Is the engine turning over fast enough when it wont start ? Ìf in doubt get battery load tested .Any fast fit centre will check foc while you wait .
