2006 Suzuki Jimny knocking

Hi, i popped the 4wd on in my Jimny and drove it back home a few miles, it was light snow,
I heard a load clang from the front end and started to knock while driving, pulled over for recovery.
Im not sure whether ive broke the gearbox or the transfer case.
Killing myself inside as i never new you could drive the jimny in 4wd on tarmac.
Hopefully someone can help me on here

Need to check it out , could be something simple like driveshaft / joint gone .
