wheh in 4 wheel drive and i turn the steering to a hard lock it puts the jeep under alot of strain like the back wheels are about to drag no problems when driving in a straight line

Are your differential oil levels okay,maybe require flushed and changed.

this car has no centre diff do not drive in 4x4 unless on mud or snow you will damage the transfer box. see owners manual or call dealer for instructions
