Gears or spark plugs possibly?

Car is not responding well to gear changes and anything over 35mph is a strain. Had a new clutch about 6 months ago.

Hard to say without identifying whether the fault is engine or transmission /clutch related . A common fault is an engine pencil coil breaking down under load which means the engine drops a cylinder . Worth checking along with spark plugs at same time
