2000 Subaru Impreza miss fire under load

Hi, I've just purchased an impreza turbo UK. It runs fine until you try to accelerate fast. As soon as you do it miss fires and I have off the accelerator. This happens about 4000-5000 rpm. The car is fine when stationary or driving normally? Any ideas

Have you had the throttle cleaned out or checked and also the vacuum tube that goes to it?
