Airbag light intermittently on and off
2016 Ssangyong Rodius Turismo EX

The airbag light on my dash keeps coming on for a few days then goes off for months, was taken to the garage who ran diagnostics and said they can't find the fault so will need to replace the whole airbag system at my expense! Hoping someone might have some idea what's wrong. Thanks

Check any connections / plugs under the seats , especially drivers seat if position is usually altered by different user like wife etc ( they often get the blame !!! ) lol
