2018 Ssangyong Korando miles clocking up - drove 10 miles, 700 added to odometer!

Our mileage is a lot higher than it should be! When we go for short journeys, loads of miles are showing on the total mileage but shows on trip the miles we have actually done. I’m just about to call the dealer we bought car from, but have no idea what the true mileage is. We had suspicions when last serviced, thought it came round very quickly, it’s only been three months since last service and now mileage is showing it needs another service already!

Get on to dealer for answers , may be a software update will fix it
