Unless out of warranty for some reason , take back to dealership for checking and diagnostic scanning .

Thanks. I have already done that. They found and rectified faulty soldered connections on the throttle cable (as per a Ssangyong service buletin) and a faulty exhaust gas sensor. Going back to them next week. Just wondering if there was something else I could point them towards.

Your better leaving it to them to sort out , most service managers / advisors I know dont usually like customers suggesting solutions . Touchy lot at times , myself included when I was running service depts .lol

You bet , could write a book about it . But you got to listen to them as often they might just give you a clue to help in fault finding and save time . No one knows everything , especially myself and learning every day but sometimes hard not to laugh at suggestions
