Excessive wear inner rim of each rear tyre

2016 Ssangyong Korando ELX 4x4 Auto
Car: Ssangyong Korando
Year: 2016
Variant: ELX 4x4 Auto
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Have had to replace both rear tyres at least once in last 6 months. wearing down to the metal on inside rims of each rear tyre.
Having them laser aligned tomorrow and will get bushes checked too but beginning to think this is a manufacturing fault

No car , driven normally , should need rear tyres replaced as often as that . There must be a problem with either the rear suspension or the geometry / alignment of the rear end .

The tyre place did say it was common in vehicles that tow. But I only occasionally tow a horse trailer so definitely something wrong. Thanks for your reply

As whittingehame said, that sounds like a geometry issue, for tyres to wear to the mesh that quickly sounds like it's very out of alignment.

I've had the outer edge / shoulder of tyres wear down quickly but that's been due to tyre being under inflated.
