I have a 2012 korando 2 litre, some times the power steering goes heavy. any ideas please ?

If it is hydraulic as opposed to EPAS , checked fluid level ? Could also check the steering column intermediate shaft knuckle joint .

It says its electronic but I have no idea about that, I'm only familiar with normal power steering. Also it only happens some times not all time.

With the EPAS this can happen with a low battery condition or / and the alternator charging rate dropping . Might be advisable to check out both especially if not been used as much lately . Can also kick in when a lot of different functions switched on and loading the battery if in low condition and alternator having to work harder to keep up .

Thanks will check alternator as battery is only about 6 months old.

Might want to check battery even though fairly new as it could have been dragged down if alternator charging rate low . When testing alternator make sure you LOAD test it with high out put users like heated rear window , headlamps etc switched on
