You really need to get it checked out to be safe , especially with the age of the car and possible warranty claim . It could be something simple like susp. drop link arms or anti roll bar bushes but wont know till examined

Thank you. Have been back to garage several times. They changed the steering rack last month. Noise still there. Waiting on garage to get back to me

Hope the rack was replaced under warranty , but obviously from what you say , not fixed the fault . Keep on to them till you get it resolved .
