2003 Skoda Octavia clutch judder

The judder when reversing is very lumpy. It is also juddering when pulling away in first gear. It happens whether hot or cold. Gearbox realatively smooth when changing gear and clutch pedal is fine (pressure). Any clues to the problem?

Could be worn clutch or dmf .

I now know what a dmf is, thanks. Dual mass flywheel.

My fault , should have explained better .Dual mass flywheel is correct .
