Unresponsive accelerator

When depressing the accelerator the pedal seems to have little to no resistance at times and can go right to the floor before a delayed reaction kicks in, this appears to be sporadic at present but with more frequency of late. I have only had the car (second hand 17 plate) for a month or so and prior to this week I have had no problems on longer journeys (140 mile runs) but this seems to be a developing fault

You really need to get it scanned with suitable equipment for fault codes as there can be a lot of faults with that box . May even be as simple as a software update available so worth a call to a dealership to check
