2016 Skoda Octavia sudden high revs

All i can think off that would be a cause is if the gear selector was not properly in gear and slipping out .for whatever reason . But there are so many problems with that gearbox it can be a bit of an nightmare , You would be better getting it checked out and scanned if needed for fault codes to keep you safe and avoid possibly aggravating things . May even be something simple like a software update needed
