2006 Skoda Octavia fuel gauge

Car just broke down and won't start. Had a few problems recently. Fuel gauge drops to empty when full after driving for a while and oil light comes on when plenty of oil. Timing belt is fine and replaced oil sensor recently. Also miles left on fuel zeroes out when fuel gauge errors. Thinking something is causing all these problems but not sure what. Currently won't fire up and has 4 fuel errors which I think are symptoms and not the main cause. Any ideas?
