2003 Skoda Octavia electric windows seized up

Tried checking all the fuses they're all okay.Just finished fitting new multi function switch on driver's door still no joy! nothing for the windows/central locking works from the driver's door multi function switch! Central locking works on key fob on all doors except driver's door! Tilt and slide sunroof still works okay and so does interior lighting! Don't know what to check next ! ! ! Can anyone help before I give in and take it to my local Auto - Electrician?

Check the wires that are inside the rubber bellows that runs from the door to the car body.
