Car refusing to start

2007 Skoda Octavia 1.9 tdi elegance
Car: Skoda Octavia
Year: 2007
Variant: 1.9 tdi elegance
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
the car rolls over fires up and stops immediately
a variation of flashing warning lights abs asr air bag oil etc flashing
after several attempts the car will start the lights continue the rev counter needle flicks to 0-5000 revs but the engine stay at tick over the temperature gauge rises to 90 the falls to 0.
This all stared after the power steering unit failed last year it was replaced but the software was updated to make it work which was never really resolved to my satisfaction the power steering was lazy and unpredictable switching off randomly my garage is baffled not a main dealer but a reliable audi vw skoda seat independent service i don't doubt their experience but the problems remain

Faced with this I would start checking ever power and ground for the entire harness,
Not much help I know but the only thing in common is it's all an electrical fault.
Genuine Skoda wiring diagram and pick a starting point.
Me?
I'd start with the power steering/wiring.
