My cruise control on my steering wheel has stopped working

Some models had problems with the stalk / switch which sometimes could be rectified by carefuly stripping down and repairing , cleaning .

Thanks for the reply ref my cruise control problem, how much will this cost me and can any garage fix this? Or do I have to take it to the main dealers? Would I also beef a diagnostics done to make sure? Thanks Again..

Could also check the switches at pedals .This link (VW) explains switch fault , simple job to try .
