They are willing to look at it but if they don't think its a saftey risk they won't do anything about it, plus a stupidly bought a car that was 75 miles away

It won`t be easy when your that far from the dealer. Would it be worth getting a local garage to quote and then get the dealer to agree to make part payment or something?
