2005 Skoda Octavia fuel gauge appears to be stuck on full tank

The fuel gauge is not moving from showing a full tank, just started happening recently.

Sounds like faulty tank unit / sender .Sometimes if stuck a bang on the tank will unjam float .

Does sound like sender issue,you probably are going to have to remove it and operate it manually to see if that's the issue or if not.
