2005 Skoda Octavia airbag warning light staying on

I very much doubt that this was the cause the only way to get to the bottom of this problem is to go to a good garage with the right diagnostic equipment to get to the bottom of this problem it may just be a case of clearing fault codes and then done...
latest ecu's can be realy sensitive to any interferance however small just roatating a wheel with the car jacked and ignition on can cause an abs system fault
bring back the old engine setup's A

If the light wasn't on when you handed car in and was on as soon as you entered car after repair , you should have not moved the car and gone back in to garage for an explanation / rectification of fault .Something must have been done to trigger the light . You could check the connections / wiring below seat as sometimes the movement of adjusting seat back and forth can cause light to come on .

Thanks guys for your help and advice. I took my car to Auther Jones garage in Ashby De La Zouch and they had a look at it and reset the computer, problem solved and they did it for free- an extra bonus
