my car losses acceleration and back fires after slowing down eg approaching junctions and even though my foot is flat to the floor takes ages to get any revs, lights also appear on the dash but don't stay on and sometimes stalls.
i have taken the car to the garage and it has had the following.
fuel cleaner
air, oil and fuel filters
spark plugs
new cat
full exhaust
lambda sensor
any help gratefully received

Take it to another garage and get it scanned rather than fit parts that may not be needed .Could also get compressions checked and if o.k , timing .
