2002 Skoda Fabia not start

when i turn ignition key i have no lights on dash panel this is the first time shes let me down.after removing the key twice i finally got lights and it started and runs fine
can anyone help (just gone over 90k)

id check the fuses first, then id take a look at the ignition switch, not the barrel where you put your key in, the switch is at the back of the barrel, might be worn, on most cars 2 small screws hold it to the barrel, with a plug connector joining the loom

There was a a known problem common with both Skoda and VW ignition switches.
