Car shakes when ticking over

2001 Skoda Fabia 1.4 comfort petrol
Car: Skoda Fabia
Year: 2001
Variant: 1.4 comfort petrol
Categories: Leaks & Noises
hello, i have a skoda fabia 1.4 petrol with 69k on the clock. when the car is left running it begins to act as if there is a strong wind blowing against it (the car shakes). i looked under the bonnet and the engine shakes slightly. it appears to be securely mounted so im afraid it looks like its the engine thats the problem. anyone any ideas how i may rectify the problem?

Sure its not the cooling fan kicking in when car left to idle ? If car running all right and no other problems ,dont really know what you are complaining about after 69k miles .

could be misfiring because of a spark plug ,lead or ignition coil pack might also be a leak on the inlet manifold gasket.
