Skoda Fabia headlamp upgrade

Variant: 999cc petrol

I currently run above model with twin headlights ie seperate dipped & main beam bulbs & find there performance woeful, I tried uprated halogen bulbs with no noticeable improvement so I am wondering if anyone has upgraded to LED bulbs ( i realise that at moment this is illegal & a MOT failure ) so I am looking for a simple plug & play bulb with no wiring mods etc required so I can replace them with original ones at MOT time
Any info much appreciated esp bulb manufacturer
