Stop/Start affecting Infotainment System (Media player - SD card)

2015 Skoda Fabia 1.2 TDI 90hp "Ambition"
Car: Skoda Fabia
Year: 2015
Variant: 1.2 TDI 90hp "Ambition"
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
If the engine has been switched off by the Stop/Start system and the car has been stopped for longer than 30 seconds or thereabouts, if the Media player is playing music from the SD card, pressing the clutch will cause the player to fast forward to the next song. I haven't tried with music from any other source. This has happened a number of times, and I've made sure I hadn't been pressing any buttons on the steering wheel.

" I haven't tried with music from any other source. " Try that first before getting too involved ?

I've tried with the radio, and that's not affected.

I would contact the dealership about this as it may be a known fault and there possibly may be a software update to rectify .
